The Person Behind JoAnn at the Shore
I didn’t grow up at the Shore. I grew up about 15 miles west of it, raised by a single mom who did everything she could.
But the Shore has always been in my blood.
My great-grandfather owned one of the first awning shops on Atlantic Avenue in Atlantic City. My grandparents lived in Margate, where my grandfather built the original steeple on Margate Community Church. My aunt and uncle took me to 2nd Avenue beach in Ocean City as a child, and I later worked on Tennessee Avenue beach and waited tables at Dock’s Oyster House.
I took my children to the boardwalk, and now I take my grandchildren.
Four generations deep. That isn’t a tagline. It is simply my life.
After more than 27 years in real estate, I have learned that nobody buys or sells a home just to complete a transaction. There is always something bigger behind it—a family growing, a new beginning, a chapter closing, or a dream finally within reach.
That is what I am really here for. Not just the house, but the life moving around it.
I am not a know-it-all, and I will never pretend to be. I stay in my lane, bring in the right people, and show up as a steady guide, a sharp advocate, and someone you can trust.
My goal is not simply to get you to the closing table. It is to be someone you feel comfortable calling again years from now—or sending your children to when their time comes.
